MANCHESTER, NH โ An early-morning fire in an alley destroyed three cars and did heavy damage to an apartment building.
According to a Manchester Fire news release, Car 1 arrived on the scene first along with Engine 6 to a call that came in at 4:33 for fire at 65 Cartier Street, a three-and-a-half story building. There reported heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of the building.
Engine 6 went to the alley and found three vehicles on fire with significant exposure to the building. Crews stretched lines to the fire as well as into the building. Incoming companies cleared the building and assisted with extinguishing the fire.
The fire destroyed three vehicles and caused significant damage to the Building. Crews were able to stop the fire before it got into the building.
The incident remains under investigation, including the cause.
