
MANCHESTER, NH โ David Mitchell, 26, of Manchester, was arrested Jan. 5 in connection with an alleged assault outside a nightclub on Jan. 3 that left another man unconscious with serious injuries.
At about 12:40 a.m. on Jan. 3 patrol officers responded to an altercation outside of Crazy Camel, 245 Maple St., for a fight that resulted in a 26-year-old man being knocked unconscious man. The two men were outside of the business at the time of the fight.
The injured man was transported to a local hospital and treated for a skull fracture and concussion. As a result of the serious nature of the injury, Manchester Police Detectives prepared a second-degree assault warrant for Mitchell, who was arrested Jan. 5 at his Rimmon Street home.
According to police, Mitchell allegedly struck the injured man with a closed fist as they walked outside of the bar. The combination of the punch and his resulting fall to the ground, he suffered serious injury, leading to the second-degree assault charge. Mitchell was scheduled to appear in District Court on January 6, 2016.
