The YMCA of Downtown Manchester, located at 30 Mechanic Street, invites the community to its 5th Annual Rock the Block celebration on Saturday, June 8 from 1 – 3 p.m. This free, family-friendly event is open to everyone in the community.
“It is said that hurt people, hurt people. By offering a method of yoga instruction and mindfulness techniques that allow individuals to connect with and understand the mental and physical impact of their own trauma, we offer resources to begin the healing process,” Jennifer Lindgren, Director of PYP New Hampshire said.
This will be a guided discussion on how we will repair and prepare ourselves through local laws, institutions, and systems to become a more welcoming community.

Join the conversation about race and community on March 19 at Goffstown High School.
The show will be performed on Friday, November 2 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 3 at 2 p.m. in the Performing Arts Auditorium.
In order to hear as many voices and perspectives as possible, we are going door to door to hear directly from the community about what they think about Manchester, its future, and its schools.
