Executive Councilor Andru Volinsky has asked Republican Gov. Chris Sununu to call an emergency session of the Executive Council to help deal with the COVID-19 epidemic.
Additional steps to limit further spread of the virus are on-going and taken in collaboration with the medical center workforce as well as across local, state and national agencies to brace for a surge in health care needs as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
None of the 13 NH cases have required hospitalization.
During Sunday’s press conference Chan said the number of confirmed cases in New Hampshire had risen to 13, nearly double Friday’s announcement of 7 confirmed cases. He also said 380 people have been tested in New Hampshire, with 275 of those having negative results. There are 100 test results pending, he said.
