One group of high school students has set their sights on making the world a better place through advocacy and they are learning how to achieve their goals through Girls Rock the Capitol, a six-month-long internship with state legislators in New Hampshire and Vermont.

On Wednesday evening, the Manchester Board of School Committee (BOSC) unanimously appointed Dr. Jenn Gillis to serve as the Superintendent of Schools for Manchester School District. Gillis has been serving as the district’s interim superintendent since Feb. 14 of this year after the departure of former superintendent Dr. John Goldhardt.
