Since winning the BBC’s TV talent show, “When Will I Be Famous?” these Scotsman have started a fire that cannot be put out. Appealing to audiences, young and old, their rock-infused bagpipe medleys are guaranteed to turn up the heat with a sound they call “bagrock.” If their kilts aren’t reason enough to get your tickets, perhaps the chance to get up close and personal with Scotland’s most unique musical export will.

Nunsense A-Men!,” a show coming to the Palace Theatre Stage Jan. 22 – Feb. 13, features an all-male cast of professional actors, as well as an audience quiz, and a level of comedy that might send you straight to confession!

On Dec. 15, Tynan will return to the Palace Theatre stage for a one-night holiday-themed performance, which will also include some Irish standards and crowd-pleasers, and a special performance by NH Police Association Pipe and Drums.

Beyond the anticipated nostalgia and feel-good spooky undertones, the current production of “The Addams Family” at the Palace Theatre also reminds us that love makes the world go ’round, whether your family is disturbingly “normal” or happens to revel in life’s darker moments.

You don’t have to remember listening to “Peggy Sue” on your transistor radio to appreciate the contribution made to rock music by Buddy Holly. In fact, even if you only know the name because it’s a popular lyric in that Weezer song (ooh-wee-ooh I look just like Buddy Holly, oh-oh, and you’re Mary Tyler Moore…), you will absolutely appreciate the The Palace Theatre’s musical tribute to the bespectacled crooner, who left an indelible mark on popular music.
