Comment Recap: More must be done to help disabled community navigate sidewalks

MANCHESTER, N.H. โ€“ Are the Manchesterโ€™s sidewalks safe for the cityโ€™s disabled population? According to a series of people commenting during the May 19th Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting, the answer to that question is no.

In addition to a string of commenters asking the Board of Mayor and Aldermen not to approve a budget higher than the cityโ€™s tax cap, a woman who was ultimately arrested and some others, there were several people testifying before the board asking for the city government to do more to help those with disabilities navigate through the city.

The following are some of the comments made or made on behalf of others during the meeting regarding the situation.
