According to a police narrative, at aboutย 6:10 p.m. Oct. 30 Trooper Willett attempted to stop a 1999 Toyota Camry on Interstate 95 southbound in the town of Greenland for no headlights or taillights activated. The vehicle failed to stop and continued on Interstate 95 southbound. It appeared the operator was possibly impaired due to the driver’sย erratic behavior, including speedingย and unsafe lane changes.

Trooper Willett continued to pursue the vehicle onto Route 101 westbound. Several attempts were made to deploy spike stripsย but the vehicle did not stop, and managed toย elude police, eventually getting away. Further investigation led State Police to a residence in Manchester where the vehicle and operator of the vehicle were located. ย Joshua R. Buzza, 37, ofย Manchester, was taken into custody, charged with felony reckless conduct; driving after suspension; driving without giving proof; disobeying a police officer; reckless operation; and period of lighting (for car light violation.)ย Buzzaย wasย held on $5,000 cash bail at the Rockingham County Jail. He will be arraigned Nov. 2ย atย 8 a.m.ย out of the 10th Circuit District Court-Portsmouth.

The New Hampshire State Police were assisted by the Epping, Raymond and Auburn Police Departments.
