
LONDONDERRY, NH โ State Police have issued the following report on the July 3 accident that shut down traffic on I-93 for an hour.
At approximately 4 p.m.ย ย the New Hampshire State Police responded to a crash in the southbound lane of I-93, south of Londonderry.
Upon arrival Troopers determined Tyler Haynes 24, of Manchester, wasย operating a Pontiac Grand Prix when he failed to yield to traffic traveling South on the Interstateย while exiting the break down lane in an attempt to take a crossover.
Santiago Flores, 58, of Everett, Mass., was traveling south on Interstaste 93,ย operating a Toyota Prius when he struck the Pontiac broadside, as it attempted to cross both lanesย of travel.
Both vehicles came to rest in the wood line of the center median.ย Tyler Haynes was transported by DHART helicopter to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries.ย Santiago Flores, and both passengers in his vehicle, were transported by ambulance to the Elliotย Hospital in Manchester with serious injuries.
Assisting the New Hampshire State Police at the scene were the Manchester Fire Department,ย Londonderry Fire Department, DHART medical helicopter and Department of Transportation.
