Drug investigation nets $10K in heroin, city man charged

MANCHESTER, NH โ€“ย Donald Thibeault, 24, of Manchester, was arrested March 4 following a vehicle search on a warrant after ย his arrest duringย which police confiscated 101 grams of heroin with a street value of $10,000 from Thibeault’s impounded car.

Detectives with the Manchester Police Special Enforcement Division executed the search March 5 as part of an ongoing drug investigation with Thibeault.

A vehicle stop was conductedย in the parking lot of Taco Bell, 1045 S.Willow St., at approximatelyย 9:20 p.m. on March 4. Thibeault was in possession of a small amount of crack cocaine and was charged with possession of a controlled drug; and sale of a controlled drug (heroin) for a past sale of heroin involving an undercover officer.ย Detectives foundย 101 grams of heroin in the vehicle, with an estimated street value of $10,000,ย so an additional charge of possession with intent to distribute was added to his criminal charges.

Thibeault appeared in the 9th Circuit Court in Manchester on March 5ย and is scheduled toย appear again March 6 or theย additional charge of intent to distribute.
