Elderly veteran robbed, police seek clues on thief

MANCHESTER, N.H. โ€“ Manchester Police are seeking additional information on the whereabouts of a man who allegedly stole an 85-year-old veteranโ€™s wallet on Tuesday.

While the elderly veteran was loading groceries into his car at the Elm Street Market Basket, the man jumped out of his car and took the veteranโ€™s wallet just after slowly driving up in a Volkswagen and down the parking lot to find a victim.

He was described as a heavy-set Caucasian man in his 30s and is approximately six-feet tall with unshaven scruffy facial hair. Later, he was spotted at 7-11 on Main Street with what is believed to be the veteranโ€™s bank card.
