LONDONDERRY, NH โย Acoustic guitar phenomenon and viral video sensation Andy McKee will be at a music venue near you on April 22 when he brings his unique sound to the Tupelo Music Hall for a one-night show in support of his new album, “Live Book.”
โThe Next Chapter Tourโ will be winding its way throughout Europe in February and March, before making several U.S. stopsย in April and May, including the Tupelo.

โIโve always wanted to do a live album; for quite a few years Iโve felt itโs something that has been missing from my collection of releases,โ says McKee. โThis album will feature some of my YouTube hits like โDriftingโ and โRylynnโ, some songs from my 2014 EPย Mythmaker, and a cover of a Michael Hedges song called โBecause Itโs There,โ played on harp guitar that I havenโt released yet.โ
Andy McKee is counted among the worldโs finest acoustic guitarists. His youthful energy and attention to song structure and melodic content elevates him above the rest. He entertains both the eye and the ear as he magically transforms the steel string guitar into a full orchestra via his use of altered tunings, tapping, partial capos, percussive hits and a signature two-handed technique.
McKeeโs crossover success has helped him to achieve millions of YouTube viewers, underscoring his emergence as one of todayโs most unique and influential artists. He has been featured as a cover story in both Acoustic Guitar Magazine in the U.S. and Acoustic Magazine in the UK, and is also the figurehead of the unique Guitar Masters tours. McKeeโs tour dates have taken him through Europe, Asia, Australia and North America, including tours with legendary acts including Prince and Dream Theater.
