MANCHESTER, NH – A driver who crossed Granite Street and crashed into several parked cars on South Commercial St. has died from his injuries.
According to police, on November 19, 2025, just before 4 p.m., there was a crash at the intersection of S. Commercial Street and Granite Street involving multiple vehicles.
For unknown reasons, a vehicle traveling south on Commercial Street, went through a red light at the intersection of Granite Street and crashed into a row of parked vehicles across the street from WMUR 9.
According to Manchester Fire Battalion Chief Robert Plantier, the sole occupant of the vehicle was in cardiac arrest. He was pulled from the vehicle and CPR was initiated. AMR and Manchester Fire started lines and attempted advanced life support on scene. The patient was transported to Elliot hospital with serious injuries, where he later died. The five other vehicles sustained extensive damage, but they were unoccupied at the time of the crash, and no additional injuries were reported.
The name of the driver has not been released. The accident remains under investigation by the Manchester Police Traffic Unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact Manchester Police at 603-668-8711.
