This show isnโt just a celebration of the dynamic lives we lead in the Granite State but a fully realized journey through the personal aesthetic. How do we approach ourselves and our who-ness in lives which encompass the intricacies of multiculturalism and allyship? Join us on a journey which dares to hold a mirror to the viewer and ask, is what you perceive of me a reflection of your own mind map?
There will be live braiding by Aline Nsimire, a demo with Barbering for Tomorrow and we will host a panel discussion, promptly starting at 6 p.m., featuring artists Yasamin Safarzadeh, Maria Oakley, Lauren Grace Williamson, Laura Zorawowicz, Amara Phelps, Cecilia Ulibarri and Seana McDuffie.ย
Donโt sleep on events like these which are so rare in New Hampshire. Though these times threaten to bend our wills and eclipse the sun, moments we create together and art we endeavor with one another remind us that expression and kinship building are the hope and the light we seek.
