MANCHESTER, NH โ€“ Families in Transition (FIT), a Manchester, Concord, and Dover, NH, based homeless services provider, raised more thanย $90,000 at their I AM ONE Fashion Extravaganza event in Manchester on October 2, 2015. Moneyย raised at the event will be used toward providing immediate shelter for families, nutritious meals, and therapeutic services for preschoolers, which are all services that will be provided at the organizationโ€™s soon-to-be completed emergency family shelter in Manchester.

“Our โ€œI AM ONEโ€ event was popular last year and so this yearโ€™s Fashion Extravaganza event was no different,” said FIT Founder and President, Maureen Beauregard. “One in four people who are homeless in Manchester is a child. Thereโ€™s so much to be done to raise the awareness about this issue and the work that we are doing to help solve the problem. The community really came out today to support us.”
