CONCORD, NH – With Open Enrollment beginning November 1, 2023, and ending January 15, 2024, the Foundation for Healthy Communities is pleased to announce free health insurance navigation services to New Hampshire residents who need to apply for and enroll in health insurance through Medicaid, the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) or the Health Insurance Marketplace.
An Open Enrollment Kick-Off Event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Foundation for Healthy Communities, 125 Airport Road, Concord. Free assistance will be provided at the event and throughout the remainder of the Open Enrollment period.
The Foundation was awarded a grant from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to assist consumers navigating, shopping for, and enrolling in health insurance coverage through a Health Insurance Navigator. This Navigator is available to all individuals statewide to provide assistance to consumers in a number of different ways, including identifying the health insurance options available to them through the Marketplace free of charge.
“I would strongly encourage anyone seeking health insurance to visit HealthCare.gov and review the various coverage options carefully before enrolling to ensure that the plan you select meets your needs,” said Adrian Jasion, Health Insurance Navigator, at the Foundation for Healthy Communities.
If you or someone you know needs health insurance, get free enrollment assistance by calling Jasion at the Foundation for Healthy Communities at (603) 415-4256 or email ajasion@healthynh.org.to find out what insurance options are available to you today.
