Jason and Jennifer Martel left their successful corporate jobs behind to open a general store in Francestown. Then their second act became a third one. Joined by culinary professional Mike Webb, Francestown Village Foods was born out of demand for their store ‘s prepared foods selections. Their frozen food line can be found in stores like Market Basket and Shaw’s. Many ingredients are locally-sourced and the team refuses to automate their Milford production facility in favor of employing 15 people to create their entrees by hand.
