Free football camp at Gill Stadium aims to level playing field for Manchester youth

New England Football Academy camp is free for all.

MANCHESTER, NH โ€” A free, two-day football camp aimed at expanding access to high-level training and mentorship is coming to Gill Stadium this spring.

The New England Football Academy, in partnership with Manchester Parks and Recreation, will host its annual Showcase Invitational Skills Camp on May 2โ€“3, 2026, offering local youth and high school athletes an opportunity to train with experienced coaches โ€” many of them former collegiate and professional players with New Hampshire roots.

Organizers say the mission is straightforward: remove financial barriers and give young athletes access to quality coaching, exposure, and guidance both on and off the field.

โ€œThis camp is about opportunity,โ€ Romeo Masuku, director and coach for New England Football Academy. โ€œWe want to make sure every athlete โ€” regardless of background โ€” has a chance to develop their skills, build confidence, and learn what it takes to succeed.โ€

Held at Gill Stadium, 396 Valley St., the camp will feature a mix of NFL Combine-style drills, position-specific training, and competitive matchups designed to help players improve speed, agility, endurance, and football IQ.

What to expect:

  • NFL Combine-style drills
  • Speed, agility, and endurance training
  • Position-specific offensive and defensive work
  • Competitive 7v7 and 4v3 matchups

Camp schedule:

  • Youth Session: 9 a.m. โ€“ 11:30 a.m.
  • High School Session (Freshmanโ€“Senior): 12 p.m. โ€“ 3:30 p.m.

The first 50 athletes to register will receive a free camp T-shirt.

Last yearโ€™s event drew strong participation and positive feedback from families and athletes, and organizers are aiming to expand the campโ€™s reach in 2026 โ€” with a continued focus on underserved youth in Manchester and surrounding communities.
