
MANCHESTER, NH โย ย Jarod Leroux, 36, wanted by U.S Marshals as a fugitive from justice, was arrested by the Manchester Police Department on May 16 in the area of Pine and High streets in Manchester, after he was stopped by policeย in connection with another ongoing investigation.
Leroux originally provided a false name, but his true identity was quickly realized and he was arrested.ย Leroux was wanted on an outstanding Belknap County arrest warrant for failing to appear on a charge of sales of methamphetamines.ย Leroux was taken into custody without any further incident and transported to the Manchester Police Department, where he was booked on the outstanding Belknap County arrest warrant. Leroux is currently being held at the Hillsborough County Jail, pending his return to Belknap County.
Leroux was featured as last weekโs โFugitive of the Week,โย whichย is broadcast on WTPL-FM, WMUR-TV, The Union Leader, The Nashua Telegraph, The Patch, Fosterโs Daily Democrat, Manchester Ink Link, and prominently shared across social media, which casts a wider net in locating fugitives. The โFugitive of the Weekโ feature continues to be aย successful tool that has resulted in the location and arrest of numerous fugitives since its implementation in 2007.
