‘Fugitive of the Week’ turns himself in after family told him he was in the news

CONCORD, NHย โ€“ ย Bad news โ€“ if you’re a fugitive from justice โ€“ travels fast, apparently.

Henry Devine, 52, ย surrendered to U.S. Probation in Concord Wednesday morning, shortly after learning ย he was this week’s U.S. Marshal’s “Fugitive of the Week.”ย 

Devine had an outstanding arrest warrant for violations of conditions of supervised release, which he was on as a result of his conviction and sentence for a 2007 robbery and distribution of cocaine base case.ย  Devine reported that he was contacted Wednesday morning byย family members that had seen Devine featured as the โ€œFugitive of the Week.โ€ย  Devine immediately contacted his probation officer and agreed to turn himself in.

Heย is currently being held at the U.S. District Courthouse in Concord, NH on the outstanding arrest warrant and will be arraigned on this new charge later today.
