Tickets are now on sale for “The Farmers Dinner” final event of the season, featuring wild game at bluAqua Restaurant & Bar, 292 NH 101 in Amherst.
There will be two seatings, 4 p.m . and 7:30 p.m., with 30 seat available per seating. Tickets are $99 per person and can be purchased at www.thefarmersdinner.com
The five-course gourmet meal will be prepared using locally-sourced game and produce, including venison from Bonnie Brae Deer Farming of Plymouth, NH, and ring-necked pheasant and rabbit from Rickety Ranch in Hollis.
A special spirits tasting will be included from local distillery, Djinn Spirits of Nashua.
The Farmers Dinner series is a community-style event that encourages discourse between neighbors, and features guest speakers and local farmers who interact with diners between courses.
Focus is on the importance of eating locally-sourced food, the best way to know exactly where your food is coming from, while supporting the local farm economy and showcasing local restaurants.
