Aug. 16: We Are One (WAO) Music/Culture Festival brings together the oldest African and Latino-centered cultural festivals in New Hampshire. Latinos Unidos established the Latino Festival in 2000 beginning an unbroken string of annual events that celebrate and communicate the range and depth of Latin culture in the Western Hemisphere. Ujima Collective founded the African/Caribbean Celebration in 2001 to address issues of social isolation and cultural alienation among New Hampshire residents of African descent through the elevation and edification of African-influenced music, dance, food and other cultural forms.

Aug. 17: The Majestic Theatreโs performance of โNunsense: The Mega Musical,โ the eighth and final โNunsenseโ show, will conclude its run at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17, at Manchester Community Music School, 2291 Elm St. Tickets are $20ย and can beย purchased onlineย or by callingย 669-7469.
