MANCHESTER NH โ€“ย Zoie A. Hall of Goffstown on Wednesday night became the first female Eagle Scout from Troop 106 in Manchester.

Zoie met for her final Board of Review, a culmination of her journey to earn the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. An accomplishment that only about 4% of Scouts attain.

Zoie followed in the footsteps of her two older brothers who also both earned their Eagle Scout ranks in the Troop. Her parents, Brandi-Ann and Todd hall, have both been leaders in Scouting for over a decade. They all helped encourage, support, and guide her.

For her required community service project, she portrayed leadership and organization skills in renovating the function hall at Blessed Sacrament Parish in Manchester. She also reached out to local businesses for donations and to organize eight separate fundraisers to earn over $6,000 needed to fund her Eagle project.

Over the last 10 months, she spoke to a variety of people who use the church’s function hall for events.

“She told them why this project was important to her, and how she demonstrated true leadership,” Marc Bergeron, Scoutmaster for Troop 106B (boys), said. “Zoie has worked hard and demonstrated perseverance by supporting the Scouting movement and inspiring 12 other girls to join the girls Troop.โ€ We are proud to add her to our Honor Roll of Eagle Scouts as the first female in the 55-year history of Troop 106, Manchester NH”.

Zoie overcame the stress of being a high school student, competitive dance competitions, being the founding member of Troop 106G (girls); a member of the Sea Scouts, a Venture Crew, and the Order of the Arrow (Scouting’s Honor Society). As well as dealing with the additional pressure from medical issues that required her to see multiple doctors for treatment, over the past several years.

Both the boys and girls Troop 106 meet on Monday nights at Blessed Sacrament Parish from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
