MANCHESTER, NH โ€”ย Many everyday household products are considered hazardous.ย  If not disposed of correctly, theseย household hazardous wastes can contaminate groundwater, damage sewer lines, and impair natural resources such as lakes and rivers.

Manchester residents may dispose of household hazardous wastes safely, legally and free at one of the city’s semi-annual collection events,ย which take placeย on the second Saturdays of May and October.

That means your big chance is Oct. 10 from 9 a.m.ย to 2 p.m. at the Drop Off Facility, located at 500 Dunbarton Road.
