Guess what? More snow this weekend

It's so beautiful, and so annoying.
It’s so beautiful, and so annoying.

MANCHESTER, NH – On the bright side, we’re a month away from the Spring Equinox on March 20. While that doesn’t mean a whole lot here in New Hampshire, it’s still the official beginning of spring.

Let’s hold onto that as we look forward to the next 10 days of weather, which includes several anticipated “snow events.”

As of 3 a.m. on Feb. 21 the National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area, which should bring another 4-6 inches of snow.

After that, we are looking at a mid-week snow storm, which is forecast to bring another 6-12 inches of snow. And then, another snow weekend is on the horizon, with another 4-8 inches predicted.

As you know all too well, this is all subject to change. But we are guaranteed more snow.

At this point, it’s not really even that important to know how much more snow is coming. What matters is that you take care of your roof, run your alternate heat sources safely, move about with caution out in the world to avoid slips and falls, and most of all, don’t let the abundance of snow discourage you.

Parking is going to be a problem, no matter where you are. Shoveling is tiresome. Paying your plow guy is about to break the bank.

But as we look forward to March – and alleged spring – know that you have survived another harsh New England winter.

    To be continued….
