MANCHESTER, NH – HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery has launched a comprehensive new website designed to help those impacted by the disease of drug and alcohol addiction.
The full-featured website, www.hopeforNHrecovery.org, has been completely redesigned to be a “one stop shop” for individuals and loved ones touched by addiction. It includes information about the disease of addiction, the process of getting well, links to resources and details about the organization’s recovery centers opening across the state.
The website’s improved functionality and enhanced content is focused on the organization’s mission to get drug and alcohol addiction sufferers well. People can request appointments with a peer recovery coach and volunteer through the website. It also includes information about recovery support groups and includes addiction survivor stories for inspiration.
“Our goal for this website is to communicate that ‘you’ve landed in the right place,’” said Cheryl Coletti-Lawson, Board Chair. “Addiction sufferers and their family members are often isolated and afraid. Our focus is on providing support and helping them navigate the process of getting well.”
The website includes easily digestible information on the science of addiction, myths and facts about the disease and advice for family members.
The site also includes information on the Workplace Initiative, an innovative program designed to bring addiction education and peer support into workplaces across the state.
HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery is focused on advocacy and awareness and provides peer support to those suffering from addiction. They also engage healthcare, employers and other key stakeholders to remove barriers to seeking help and to improve lifelong addiction care across their communities, so more people get well and stay well.
HOPE for New Hampshire Recovery is the NH affiliate of Face It TOGETHER, a national organization working with communities to fundamentally transform how they deal with drug and alcohol addiction.
