MANCHESTER, NH – Two people were arrested March 25 by police during a “hot spot” patrol of the city’s high crime areas.
According to a police narrative, Officers Mike Caron and Dan Golia were on patrol at 2:40 a.m. when they observed two people walking in the road in the area of the 200 block of Lowell Street. They were identified as Shelly Hauger, 23, no fixed address, and Adam MacAllister, 29, of Manchester. A subsequent records check by police revealed both were wanted on electronic bench warrants.
Hauger allegedly provided a false name to police before her true identity was revealed, leading police to the electronic bench warrant in her name.
MacAllister was also wanted on an Electronic Bench Warrant and an arrest warrant out of Coos County.
Officers located several syringes during the post-arrest inventory search. One of the needles was “loaded” with heroin. Hauger was charged with possession of a controlled drug (heroin) and released on $2,000 personal recognizance bail. She is set to appear in the 9th Circuit Court-Manchester on April 29, 2015.
MacAllister is set to appear in Lancaster District Court (Coos County) on April 27th for his original charges.
