For the First Time in Event History, Anyone Can Eat the Inaugural Taco and Kick Off Taco Tour Manchester
MANCHESTER, NH — Taco Tour Manchester, an event by the Greater Manchester Chamber, presented by Dartmouth Health, Delta Dental, and the New Hampshire Fisher Cats, will return to Downtown Manchester, NH on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 4–8 p.m. EST.
Taco Tour Manchester is one of the largest single-day food festivals in the country, welcoming more than 20,000 attendees from Manchester, throughout New Hampshire, and beyond. This beloved community tradition features 100+ local restaurants, food vendors, and beverage partners showcasing unique culinary twists on the taco – all open and free to the public, with $3 tacos available for purchase throughout the evening. As part of its mission to elevate and support small businesses and overall city vitality, the Greater Manchester Chamber has organized Taco Tour Manchester since 2022.
This year, Taco Tour Manchester is opening the Grand Marshal selection to the community for the first time. One attendee will be selected to eat the inaugural taco and officially kick off the event.
In past years, the Grand Marshal has been a local celebrity – someone selected to eat the inaugural taco and officially open the tour. This year, that honor can belong to anyone who wants it. One lucky community member will be selected at random to take the stage, eat the inaugural taco, and kick off Taco Tour Manchester 2026 in front of an enthusiastic crowd of fellow taco lovers. It could be a first-time attendee. It could be a longtime fan. It could be you.

The Grand Marshal drawing will take place at the all-new Taco Tour Manchester Inaugural Ceremony – and that’s another first worth celebrating. What has historically been a small, exclusive gathering at the Chamber for media and press to kick off the tour is coming to the community in 2026. This year’s inaugural ceremony will take place at Veterans Park at 3:30 p.m., open to the public with entertainment and free giveaways. It is the official start of the evening and the perfect way to kick off your Taco Tour experience.
Taco Tour Manchester 2026 also features two stages of live music with performances throughout the night, sponsor booths, fun giveaways, a family zone, and a brand new sensory-friendly area where attendees can step away from the crowd and take a moment to recharge. Attendance is free and open to the public.
