
CONCORD, NH – New Hampshire Secretary of State David Scanlan and State Archivist Ashley Miller will host an open house and lecture at the New Hampshire State Archives on October 23 to celebrate American Archives Month. The open house will begin at 1 p.m. with documents and artifacts showcasing significant periods of New Hampshire history, including records on the state’s witchcraft cases.
In the spirit of Halloween, Dr. Tricia Peone will then deliver a lecture on the history of witchcraft in New Hampshire at 2 p.m. The lecture will be available both in person and virtually.
Members of the public and media are highly encouraged to attend.
