It’s National Bobblehead Day: Celebrate with more cowbell from new SNL collection (no, there’s no Adam Sandler or Seth Meyers – yet)

You need more cowbell? Now there’s a bobblehead for that.

MILWAUKEE, WI โ€“ย To celebrate National Bobblehead Day, theย National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumย on Wednesday unveiled the firstย officially licensed, limited-editionย Saturday Night Live Bobblehead Series featuring 10 different characters from NBCโ€™s Emmy-winning late-night comedy show.ย The special edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee, an official licensee of NBCUniversal.

Although our NH hometown favorite cast members Adam Sandler and Seth Meyers are not included in this first wave of SNL bobbleheads, National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar says you never know when an Opera Man bobblehead might roll off the assembly line.

The inaugural โ€œSaturday Night Liveโ€ Bobblehead Collection does include the following fan favorite bobbleheads:

  • Roseanne Roseannadanna
  • Matt Foley
  • More Cowbell
  • Drunk Uncle
  • The Ladies’ Man Bobblehead
  • The Ambiguously Gay Duo
  • Bass-O-Matic
  • D*ck in a Box
  • Mango
  • Nick the Lounge Singer

The bobbleheads, which will each be individually numbered to 2,026, are only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumโ€™s Online Store. The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in May, are $35 each for the individual bobbleheads and $40-$50 for the dual bobbleheads plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

Widely considered an American late-night institution, โ€œSaturday Night Liveโ€ has been nominated for 305 Emmy Awards and won 82. Broadcast from Studio 8H at NBCโ€™s headquarters in the Comcast Building at 30 Rockefeller Plaza, SNL has aired nearly 1,000 episodes since its debut, making it one of the longest-running network programs in television history. The show celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2025 with a massive celebration. In 2000, SNL was inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame. It was ranked 10th in TV Guideโ€™s โ€œ50 Greatest TV Shows of All Timeโ€ in 2002 and was listed as one of Timeโ€™s โ€œ100 Best TV Shows of All-TIMEโ€ in 2007.Over the years, SNL has developed some of its more popular sketches into feature-length films with varying degrees of commercial and critical success.
