June 25: Artist talk with James Aponovich and Currier curator Kurt Sundstrom


MANCHESTER, NH – On June 25th at 5:30 p.m. the public is invited for an artist talk at Kelly Stelling Gallery featuring artist James Aponovich and curator for the Currier Museum of Art, Kurt Sundstrom, PhD.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

About the artist

James Aponovich, a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, began his career as a portraitist and figure painter.  Since the early 1980s he has focused primarily creating still-lifes, which are notable for their idealized rendering of objects and landscape backdrops.

Aponovich graduated from the University of New Hampshire at Durham in the late 1960s and saw immediate success exhibiting regularly in galleries in New York and in museums throughout the United States.
