Manchester Jazzercise Fitness Center is holding a benefit class for one of its students, Tricia Hamann, a Londonderry firefighter, who’s battling breast cancer for the third time. The class is at 9:30 a.m. at the studio, located at 32 Hayward St. in Manchester.
Short notice, but for a $12 drop in fee, you can always stop by and support the cause while you spectate, if you don’t have time to sweat.
Can’t swing it today? You can still help via this GoFundMe site, hoping to raise $3,000 to help ease medical expenses for Hamann and her family.
A portion of proceeds from today’s event – including some pink accessories – will go to help Hamann, of Londonderry. It is just one of several initiatives in place, along with a campaign by Hamann’s fellow Londonderry Firefighters, who have produced and are selling T-shirts (black w/pink ribbon and her firefighter number on it.)
