Dear Editor,
You can download your absentee ballot application from most town websites or from SOS.NH.Gov. You can also request a paper copy from your town or city clerk. As of today, you’ll need two copies, one for each election. These applications must be printed and filled out; check “physical disability” as the excuse. Per the SOS, “Physical Disability” = Covid-19 concern. Sign your application in ink then return it to your town clerk. Your actual ballot will arrive in the mail a few weeks before the election, so vote right away when you receive it, then return it.
Please don’t wait until the last minute to return your application! The Secretary of State, our town clerks and supervisors expect at least 50 percent of votes to be cast by absentee ballots this year. Be thoughtful with this paperwork for those who are making your voice and your vote count!
