Local rock band Dead Harrison releases beer with Lithermans Limited Brewery

NASHUA, NH – Local rock band Dead Harrison, from Nashua, releases a beer with Lithermans Limited Brewery. The band has partnered with beer masters and music-lovers, Michael Hauptly-Pierce and Doc Jones, owners of Lithermans Limited Brewery in Concord. Taking a concept from their song End of the Bloodline, off their EP All for None, Lithermans Limited created a Summer cream ale flavored with blood-orange and a hint of lime, called End of the Blood-Lime. The band worked with the graphic designer, Steve Lee, who created art designed around the lyrics of the song and depicts an otherworldly volcanic scene with a lime green sky.

Dead Harrison features Andre Dumont on drums and lead vocals, Shawn Dube on guitar and backing vocals, and Jason Freitas on bass and backing vocals. Their sound is a mix of influences from Black Sabbath, Type O Negative, Corrosion of Conformity, Misfits, and Sisters of Mercy. The beer, like the lyrical content of the band’s music, has depth of character and tells a story of bringing a positive light to the darkness. The band has been performing together for ten years throughout the Northeast and the beer release marks another milestone for the band on their list of achievements.

Lithermans Limited Brewery owner Michael Hauptly-Pierce says, “I used to do shows with these guys, more than any other band. Having shared so much time and energy together, it was only natural we collaborate on a beer. Lithermans Limited has its origins in music, and teaming up with musicians to make beer is what we are all about!”

The beer will be released on Friday, July 13 at Area 23, a music venue and brew pub in Concord, owned by Kirk McNeil. Dead Harrison will be joined by bands Conduit from Nashua, The Negans from Boston, and Blackletter from Providence, RI.

Not only does the beer release differentiate Dead Harrison, but it also inspires them to create new material, perform in breweries and present their music and their beer to people who enjoy live music and locally brewed beer.
