MANCHESTER, NH โ Manchester resident Robert Keefe, who won top prize in the Lucky for Life Lotto game last week, made it official by presenting his winning ticket at lottery headquarters in Concordย March 8.
Opting for the one-time cash payout, Keefe received his $5.75 million Lucky For Life top prize. Keefe had the option of taking home $1,000 a day for life, or the one-time cash payout of $5.75 million, before taxes. Keefe bought his winning ticket at the Hannaford Supermarket at 859 Hanover Street in Manchester for the drawing on March 3. Keefe is the second Lucky For Life top prize winner from New Hampshire since the game launched in March 2012.
Keefe, who was born in Las Vegas but has lived in New Hampshire for most of his life, plays all of the New Hampshire Lotteryโs jackpot games, including Powerball, Mega Millions, Megabucks and Lucky For Life. In fact, Keefe has never missed a drawing. He uses the same numbers for all of the games with his numbers representing birthdays.
