
MANCHESTER, NH – On December 11, 2025 shortly before 9 a.m., Manchester Police responded to the TD Bank at 300 Franklin Street for a reported bank robbery.

Arriving officers learned that a man had walked into the bank and demanded cash from the teller. He did not show a weapon. The teller gave him an envelope with an undetermined amount of money and he left on foot.
A description of the suspect was radioed out and moments later officers saw a man meeting the description walk out of Bunny’s Convenience Store at 947 Elm Street.
The man, identified as 44-year-old Michael Cote (no set address) was taken into custody without incident and found to have a large amount of cash in an envelope in his sweatshirt pocket. He was charged with Robbery (F).
“I’d like to thank the bank employees for doing everything right in an extremely stressful situation,” says Chief Peter Marr, “Their quick actions allowed our officers to respond quickly and apprehend the suspect within a few short minutes. Our officers quick response lead to an almost immediate arrest of a bank robber. Manchester Police Officers are committed to this city and making it a safer place for everyone.”
