MANCHESTER, NH – Police are investigating a report of an 18-year-old who shot himself in the foot with his own gun, which was tucked into his waistband.
On Oct. 4 police were dispatched to Amherst and Walnut streets at about 9:30 p.m. where the man was found suffering from a self-inflicted wound to his right. Police say the gun was tucked into the man’s waistband when it discharged.
The man, whose name was not released, was treated at Catholic Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries. Police confiscated the gun.
