MANCHESTER, NH – David “Chase” Rondon, 26, of Manchester, wanted by Manchester Police in connection with the Oct. 26 shooting in Enright Park, was arrested Nov. 12 by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in the Bronx, NY.
Rondon was arrested on a warrant issued by Manchester Police shortly after the shooting investigation was completed. Rondon was considered armed and dangerous based on the charges of attempted murder. The fugitive investigation was turned over to the U.S. Marshals, leading the investigation team from New Hampshire to the Bronx.
On Nov. 12 members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force located Rondon at a relative’s residence in the 300 block of 132nd St., where he was arrested without incident. He was charged as a fugitive from justice by NYPD and will be held without bail pending his return to New Hampshire to face the attempted murder charge.
On Oct. 26 Manchester Police responded to a “shots fired” call in the area of Lincoln and Laurel streets at approximately 12 p.m. Manchester Police Officer Pete Boylan located Omari Abrahams, 24, of Manchester, at the Elliot hospital several minutes after the shooting was reported for treatment of a serious but non-life-threatening gunshot injury to his foot.
