UnWined: Key West Cafe and Grill opens Sept. 17

MANCHESTER, NH – UnWine’d: Key West Cafe & Grill opens for breakfast at 7 a.m. tomorrow, September 17. This revamped eatery is a merger of the former wine bar, UnWined, with the breakfast-lunch spot in Goffstown, Key West Café. The Second Street restaurant was renovated and will re-open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The new menu will feature Caribbean inspired dishes.

This weekend: Glendi at St. George, 650 Hanover Street, is happening on September 18,19, and 20. Music, activities, food and lots of candidates! Glendi is known for its food and this year’s menu covers all the favorites, such as baked lamb shank dinner ($16),pastichio ($11), and Greek meatballs in a Glendi secret tomato sauce ($9). Hours are Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. (food service ends at 9:30 p.m.) and on Sunday 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Portland Pie Company has a new fall menu. Check out pumpkin bread sticks ($6.99), butternut squash soup in a Shipyard Pumpkinhead dough bread bowl ($8.49), and pizzas made with Shipyard Pumpkinhead dough.

Every Tuesday in September, at the bar, choose from three succulent crab dishes: $5 crab & cheese plunge,  $10 crab and avocado cocktail and the $15 icy Alaskan King Crab. Copper Door has put out a fall menu that includes hearty dishes like Braised short rib manicotti ($11), a slow roasted pork-and butternut pizza ($15), and roasted duck with butternut and Mascarpone ravioli ($28).
