MANCHESTER, NH – An investment firm for startup companies located in the shadow of the Manchester Millyard announced its public launch on Tuesday.
Located in the R.G. Sullivan Cigar Factory building on Canal Street, York.IE describes itself as a “hybrid strategic advisory, investment, and operational growth firm focused on scaling innovative, creative and impactful companies via several unique engagements and vehicles.”
The company’s name comes from a portmanteau of CEO Kyle York and Investment Enterprise. Although Tuesday marks the formal launch, York and managing partners Joe Raczka and Adam Coughlin have been investing and advising startups over the past five years. During that time, the company deployed over $12 million in capital investing with more than 60 startups, 16 of which have exited in deals valued at over $2.5 billion.
Unlike many early-stage investment firms, York.IE focuses on direct support of entrepreneurs, currently running the largest SaaS syndicate on Angel List, an online directory for angel investors.
