MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Veterans Council will hold its Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, beginning at 2 p.m.
The Council encourages residents and community organizations to attend as Manchester honors Memorial Day and recognizes the 250th birthday of America. Following the parade, the Council will dedicate the Gulf Wars and War on Terror Monument in Veterans Park.
Event Details:
- Step-off: 2 p.m.
- Route: Elm Street from Bridge Street to Central Street.
- Road closure: Elm Street will be closed at 7 a.m.; all vehicles must be moved before that time.

- May 22-30, 2026, Travis Manion Foundation’s The Honor Project at 64 National Cemetery locations nationwide. (Volunteers will place hand-crafted commemorative tokens at the resting places of fallen heroes and pause to reflect on their service and sacrifice).

- May 26, 2026, Veterans Yoga Project, Memorial Day Mindful Resilience Classes – Virtual.
- May 1–25, 2026, Team Red White and Blue, Memorial Minutes, National. Virtual and in-person challenge designed to honor the 1.3 million Americans who gave their lives in service to this nation over the last 250 years.
