Manchester Parks & Rec offering new pickleball and youth softball clinics

    At Manchester Parks and Rec, we’re delighted to announce two fantastic programs designed to hone skills, promote fitness, and bring our community together. Make the most of these opportunities to learn and grow!


    ⚾ Youth Softball Clinics with NH SportsHouse

    Ready to elevate your softball skills? Our collaborative program with NH SportsHouse is perfect for young athletes eager to refine their abilities in a fun, animated environment. Under Steve Kraytenberg’s guidance, and alongside NH college coaches and players, participants will experience focused training and personal feedback.

    📅When?

    Tuesdays and Thursdays, February 4 – March 27, 2025

    8-12 years: Tuesdays

    13-17 years: Thursdays

    4 – 5 PM

    👨‍🏫Instructors:

    Steve Kraytenberg will be leading the program along with a team of expert coaches and college-level players.

    Steve brings over 45 years of coaching experience, spanning from recreational leagues to college softball, ensuring athletes receive top-quality instruction. The NH SportsHouse facility provides an advanced training venue with its climate-controlled environment, 20,000 square feet of turf, and 12 batting cages.


    🏓 Beginner’s Intro to Pickleball with Live Free and Pickleball

    Craving a new sport? Discover the thrill of pickleball with us! This beginner-friendly course breaks down the essentials, from court layout to game strategies. Over the weeks, you’ll build on foundational skills like dinking and serving through interactive drills, leading up to exciting gameplay with guided coaching.

    Course Highlights:

    Skill Development: Weekly sessions covering rules, strategies, and court techniques.

    Wellness Benefits: Boost your cardiovascular fitness, hand-eye coordination, and agility.
