Manchester police respond to mental health crisis, use drone to search woods; person found deceased

MANCHESTER, NH – On November 7, 2025, at approximately 8:50 a.m., Manchester Police responded to the area of English Village Road to assist in locating an individual reported to be experiencing a mental health crisis. 

Officers began searching the area on foot, and the Manchester Police drone unit was used to aid in the search. After an extensive search of a densely wooded area, the drone located the person at around 9:50 a.m. Officers on the ground were guided to the location, where they unfortunately discovered the individual was deceased. 

The Manchester Fire Department and Manchester AMR also responded to and assisted during  this incident. 

Manchester Police Detectives and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner responded to the scene and are assisting with the investigation. At this time, the death does not appear to be suspicious. 

No further information will be released pending notification of next of kin.
