Manchester woman charged in connection to fatal West Side hit-and-run 


MANCHESTER, NH – A Manchester woman has surrendered to Manchester Police in connection with a fatal accident last week on the city’s West Side.

On September 17, 2025 at approximately 6:40 p.m., Manchester Police responded to the Taco Bell at 1050 Second Street for a report of a car versus pedestrian accident. Officers located 60-year-old Juliana Harbeck of Rindge in the parking lot with life-threatening injuries. She was  immediately taken to a local hospital, where she later passed away. 

The investigation determined that Harbeck had been hit by a vehicle and the driver fled the scene.

Police identified the driver as Maria Camila Posada Canizales, 27, of Manchester. A warrant was  issued for her arrest and on September 22, 2025.

Canizales turned herself in at police headquarters and was charged with conduct after an accident – felony. She was held pending a court appearance on Sept. 23.
