MANCHESTER, NH – WomenWise, presented in partnership with The Equality Health Center, is on view from March 9 through March 30, 2026. Featuring 31 original works across a range of media, the exhibition honors the strength, resilience, and beauty of all women through the eyes of local artists who share the stories, connections, and inspirations that shape their understanding of womanhood, empowerment, and community. The exhibition is guest juried with EHC’s artist and residence, Shaylee Elliette-French, with three best-in-show prizes to be announced at the opening reception.
The exhibition takes its name from WomenWise, a pioneering health-based newspaper published from 1974 to 1994 by Equality Health Center, then known as the Concord Feminist Health Center. The publication’s legacy of collective learning, mutual support, and shared power serves as the foundation for this partnership exhibition- reviving the history of the women’s movement and illuminating the women who have influenced our lives and our art.
Presented in celebration of Women’s History Month, WomenWise brings together art, history, and community to highlight stories and strength across generations. Equality then. Equality now. Celebrate with artists and the community Saturday, March 14th from 5-7p.m.
