MCC Cybersecurity Symposium 2026 March 31-April 2

Topics Include Growing Role of Extended Reality and Artificial Intelligence in Workforce Development, Automated Manufacturing, and Business Solutions.

MANCHESTER, NH— Emerging technology can support cyber investigations, communication in challenging environments, and applied problem solving. And experts at Manchester Community College will share how these new developments and the many programs available at MCC can help businesses improve their footing and achieve their individual goals.

From March 31 – April 2, MCC will host its annual Cybersecurity Symposium on campus, featuring a broad array of experts who will provide guidance and advice through demonstrations and panel discussions.  Sessions and demonstrations will highlight:

  • Practical cybersecurity strategies for organizations and individuals
  • The use of XR technologies for workforce training and business applications
  • Responsible integration of artificial intelligence into programming and cybersecurity workflows
  • Workforce pathways connecting education and industry

“This event reflects MCC’s growing leadership in cybersecurity, AI, and XR for business applications,” says Peter La Monica, Chair of the Computer Science Department at MCC and nationally respected cybersecurity expert.  “The Symposium is more than presentations to benefit the business community; it is workforce development in action. Several of our MCC students will be presenting, assisting, or participating in sessions all three days.”

A major highlight of this year’s symposium will be the April 1st daytime unveiling of a new spatial communication platform, which enables three-dimensional holographic presence for communication, education, and business collaboration. The device will be demonstrated live as part of the symposium’s focus on immersive and spatial computing technologies.
