Get ready for a scorcher! Today promises hazy sunshine with temperatures soaring to a sizzling high of 94°, but it will feel even hotter at 97° due to the humidity. A gentle WNW breeze at 5-10 mph will offer just a hint of relief. Stay hydrated and enjoy the sunshine!

The fourth heat wave of the summer will begin the work week, followed by a cool down with comfortable air arriving on Thursday and continuing into the first weekend of August. Heat index values into the upper 90s to low 100s. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun and check up on relatives, neighbors, children, and pets.
