The temperature will reach a high of 39 degrees, but it’ll feel more like a chilly 28 out there. Dress warmly and brace yourself for those gusty moments!

Mt. Washington Snow Report

Mount Washington is blanketed in heavy snow this November. This Novemberโ€™s snow has been intense, with totals reaching 42.5″ so farโ€”well above the average of 35.6″ for the month. The record for November snowfall at MWOBS is 86.6″ set in 1968, with records going back to 1932. In this video, weather observers and interns are busy shoveling snow from around the precipitation can, ensuring more accurate precipitation measurements.

Elevations for summits above 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Summits hidden with scattered snow showers, highs ranging from 13 to 23 degrees. Northwest winds blowing at 35 to 45 mph, increasing to 50 to 60 mph at elevations above 5,000 feet. Snow chance around 50 percent, with wind chills dropping as low as 22 below.

Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Summits will be hidden, with snow likely in the morning and scattered snow showers in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach the mid-20s, with northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts up to 70 mph. Thereโ€™s a 70 percent chance of snow, and wind chills could drop as low as 7 below.
