Elevations for summits above 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Summits will be hidden in the morning, then drift in and out of clouds. Highs will range from 7 to 17 degrees above zero. Northwest winds around 40 mph will ease to about 25 mph in the afternoon. Above 5,000 feet, northwest winds near 60 mph will shift west and drop to around 45 mph later in the day, with gusts up to 95 mph. Wind chills could plunge as low as 47 below.
Elevations between 2,500 and 4,000 feet in Northern New Hampshire today: Mountain peaks will be hidden in the morning before turning mostly cloudy. Temperatures will range from 7 to 17 degrees above, with northwest winds at 15 to 25 mph and gusts reaching up to 60 mph. Wind chills could drop as low as 30 below.
