MANCHESTER, NH – Jacob Nadolski, 18, no fixed address, was arrested May 19, charged with conduct after an accident and resisting arrest, after police observed him speeding on Hanover Street.
Police later learned Nadolski had two outstanding warrants for his arrest, for simple assault and criminal trespass.
According to a police narrative, at about 11:45 a.m. Officer Charles Anderson attempted to stop a 2006 Ford Focus traveling at a “high rate of speed” on Hanover Street, near Beacon Street. Officer Anderson also noted an invalid inspection sticker on the car and attempted to catch up to the speeding vehicle.
Officer Anderson noticed the vehicle making several “quick turns” in a manner consistent with attempting to flee the police cruiser, police said. Officer Anderson activated his emergency lights at Lake Avenue and Beacon street, but soon realized the operator, later identified as Nadolski, had no plans to stop. Nadolski continued to make multiple “quick turns” after Officer Anderson began his pursuit. Nadolski eventually struck a curb and damaged the vehicle he was operating. The vehicle ultimately came to rest in the area of Cedar and Belmont streets.
Nadolski got out of the car and fled on foot, leaving a juvenile passenger behind. Officer Anderson spoke with the passenger and called for additional units. Officer Ben Foster and his police dog partner Moose tracked Nadolski to an area behind 293 Taylor Street, where he was arrested and charged with conduct after and accident; disobeying a police officer and resisting arrest/detention.
